Founded in 1995 by Lee Mentzos, An ALOA (Associated Locksmiths Of America) CML (Certified Master Locksmith) as well as receiving the NSO (National Safeman's Organization) CPS (Certified Professional Safeman) rating. Knight Safe & Lock is backed with over 25 years of industry experience. Lee has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Computer Sciences from the University of Phoenix. He has earned the coveted Microsoft MCSD rating as well. Lee writes freelance code and debugs code for a local computer gaming business, he has written several programs for the Locksmith industry as well.

 I grew up in the back of a locksmith shop. My father got into the business in 1978 or so. I would go to work with him on weekends and school holidays until I graduated from high school. Working in his shop in Redmond Washington I was able to learn enough of the trade to venture off on my own path a year or so after I completed high school. I worked at a couple of locksmith companies in Seattle and Tacoma taking knowledge and applying it into a foundation I use today. As a child I knew I was destined to be self employed, and was eager to get there as soon as possible. I immersed myself in learning all that was available to me in the trade, and set off on my own.
